Jhonny Jhonny

Jhonny! Jhonny!
Help me papa!
Eating sugar ?
Help me papa!
Telling lies ?
Help me papa!
Open your mouth!

This poem explains a failed parent unable to listen his child’s call, and thinks that they know better for his child than the child itself. This poem shows a one way communication between father and his child. In the every other line, we can see that child is asking for his father’s attention while his father just keeps on saying his thing. In the last line, the child didn’t respond (he was supposed to laugh “ha ha ha” as in the original poem). The child stops asking for father’s attention. This is where all the problem for the child begins (Depression, wrong decisions of life, etc.)
